Depending on whether they live indoors or outdoors, Plotties may have more or less active lifestyles. Outside human homes, Plotties have communities and settlements all around the world. Gardens, parks, forests, they are everywhere.

Plotties are highly social creatures so even if they live indoors as pets, they will usually week social interaction with other Plotties. If there are other Plotties in the house, they will form a small community with them. If they're the only Plottie in the household it is likely that it will leave every once in a while to visit a Plottie settlement near them.

It's not uncommon for humans to forget that plotties have advanced civilizations and usually see them as mere pets but it is important to remember that they have elaborate societies. Plotties have towns, cities, organizations, infrastructure, shops and even their own languages so just because we can't understand them doesn't mean they have nothing to say or do.

This overlapping of two different worlds leads most Plotties to live double lives: One as a pet and another one as a unique individual in an established community. Plotties usually have well established roles in their communities: they have jobs, families, responsibilities, hobbies, pets of their own, etc.
