The Plantae Kingdom is a community plant nursery founded by Anthea Stathopoulos in 1939. Anthea was known to be a green-thumb and many believedshe had a special ability to make plants grow. The nursery was originally opened with the intent of spreading the love for plants by giving free gardening lessons and providing people with a peaceful place to keep and take care of their plants.
The first Plotties were discovered by Stathopoulos by complete accident and kept in secret. After the woman died in 1968, the secret of the mysterious tiny plant-people went with her. Being completely dependant on human care at first, many of them died.
The tiny creatures slowly started evolving and adapting to become independent and self-sufficient. The Iris flowers, the wisest of them all became the leaders of the new civilization.
Nowadays the Plantae Kingdom nursery serves as headquarters to Plottie Inc. It also functions as a tourist atraction, as it is one of the biggest Plottie settlements in the world, home to the civilization known as the planteans.
