In 2015, Anthea's land was auctioned out and bought by a man named Han. The place was abandoned and in really poor conditions. As remodeling was about to begin, the man discovered the hundreds of tiny plant-creatures living in the overgrown backyard. He decided to restore the nursery to its former glory and re-opened it.
The final reveal of the humanoid plants captured the world's attention including press, scientists and big companies. People around the globe started looking for other civilizations and studying them, trying to understand how they came to be.
The nursery started giving them away for free but as demands grew bigger commercialization of the creatures finally began. This gave rise to a world-wide network of nurseries that started selling them in small kits ready for people to take home. That same year they were officially given the name "Plotties".
